Reflection has been called the most powerful and often overlooked skill. When we take time to reflect on our work, it’s important not only ask ourselves why something isn’t working well but also how can improve that aspect of care for those in need – as well looking at tasks from earlier stages with older clients so they know processes have changed over a period because this helps reduce vulnerability or overwhelm when faced new situations later down line.

Reflection is time for individuals to make sense of what has happened and understand how it can be improved. It allows us to look back at events that have happened in the past; why this may have occurred; was there anything we could’ve done to prevent it?
