Harlem and IvoI
Harlem is moving house and is looking to declutter. He puts a notice in the post office window to try and sell his rowing machine for £200. Ivo calls Harlem after seeing the notice and offers to buy the rowing machine for £170. Harlem refuses as the rowing machine has hardly been used and he believes that £200 is a bargain. Harlem and Ivo end the phone call.
Harlem then reflects and decides that he no longer wants to sell the rowing machine as there is enough space in the new house for it and it will help Harlem get fit. Before Harlem has time to remove the notice from the post office window, Ivo calls him again and offers to buy the rowing machine for the asking price of £200. Harlem tells Ivo that the rowing machine is no longer for sale.
Ivo becomes very annoyed and tells Harlem that he must sell the rowing machine to him as he has offered the asking price. Harlem wants your advice concerning whether he is under an obligation to sell the rowing machine to Ivo.
